I’m so glad you’re here about to make a start on your Album! This will ensure your happiest memories are close to hand for many years to come. Your Album isn’t just for you, it will become a treasured family heirloom. Your Wedding Album may be the last wedding job on the to do list, but it will undoubtedly become your longest lasting reminder of the day. The power of the printed image to evoke time, place, & memories is a precious thing!
THE ALBUM ORDERING PROCESS
Step 1: Use the 'favourite' (heart) feature in your online gallery to select the photos you want in your album, try to pick around 50-100. If your gallery has recently expired please email me and ask me to reactivate it, if some time has passed since your wedding your gallery is most likely no longer online and will have to be re-uploaded.
Step 2: Pick the size & shape of album you want, the cover material & colour, and the emboss colour you want. The options are all shown on this webpage. Complete the album ordering form at the bottom of this page.
Step 3: I will email you an estimate, and a $500 deposit invoice. The album starting base is a linen cover with 20 spreads(40 pages), the albums final price can change depending on if you upgrade your cover material, or add spreads to the album. The final invoice is sent before going to print. If you had a small up to 3 hour wedding 20 spreads is about bang on, if you booked for 6 hours we may end up needing a couple more spreads to do your wedding story justice, and if you booked for 9 hours it is highly likely we’ll need more like 30ish spreads.
Step 4: The album is designed. Once your deposit is paid the album design begins. You will be sent a link to do the online proofing, which is where you can request changes. You’ll make notes directly into the proofing website on each page of the layout, request photos to be moved around or switched out, and make notes on the design. I make the design changes. You proof for the 2nd time. I make any final changes, you approve the design, the final invoice is sent and paid, and the album is sent to the printers. Album designing is a collaboration between us, so be aware you need to make some time to proof the design before print. If you live in Wellington we can do an in your home album design session together, after the first draft is completed.
Timeframes will be communicated with everyone directly, but album’s, as a rule, are made over the winter months as during summer I am too busy shooting all the beautiful weddings! Once the album has been sent to print the production time is 4-5 weeks including delivery. Do let me know if you have a deadline you’d like your album for. There are cut off dates on the lead up to Christmas.

After you have sent through your album ordering form I will send back an estimate. Due to variables such as number of spreads and cover upgrades I will always be transparent & discuss pricing with you during the design process. The final price is always confirmed with you before you’re invoiced.

There are 8 standard emboss font options. These are included in the album base price. There can be one or two lines of text.
The emboss is positioned optically center/middle on the album cover as standard. If you'd like to have a different position (e.g. bottom/right corner or center/top) please request this in the notes.
Upgrade to a Custom Emboss for +$250.00 This option is available if you want more than two lines of text. Want a long saying or quote. Want to use another font. Want to use the design from your wedding stationary. Want me to design something more flashy for you.
