Jilly & Tim... I don't even know where to start! So I'm going to start at the end.

The day after Jilly & Tim's wedding was September 6th, my birthday & fathers day. I thought it would be cute to send Jilly a photo of her & her Dad dancing together for fathers day, so I hustled & sent thought the sneak peeks. She sent me back the sweetest email.

'Hi beautiful Sarah - wow, thank you SO much! I can't even put into words how much I appreciated you being there with us on Saturday. And this sneak peek is just incredible!! Your work is amazing. I'm blown away - I honestly don't think I have EVER seen my Dad smile that big and you have captured it on camera! Amazing.'

I was proud as punch, and I still am. Sometimes I forget just how important those photos will become. I mean those ones with the perfect landscape backdrop, and amazing light, they're cool and all, but it's the ones with the people who matter the most that will be cherished.

When I think about these two I remember the adorable way they looked at each other all day, and how Tim just couldn't stop crying. He started as he was greeting their guests, then again when Jilly walked down the aisle towards him, and to be honest he was crying all day. He was very humbled, I think, to be marrying his love in the company of people who cared so much for them both. I also remember that late afternoon, warm spring light, It was perfect to set off Jilly's palette of golds and blushes. More spring weddings please!
